A display of unity

Body
At left: Kiwanis Club President Don Archer, with his fiancée Judy Dodd, was honored Tuesday evening for Archer’s President’s Project, which was placement of five flags outside the clubhouse on Elm Drive. American and Texas flags flutter alongside service flags for the Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary clubs in a “monument to unity,” according to Geron Bryan, pastor of Rockwall and Brin Church of Christ and a Kiwanis Club member. Archer’s project “speaks to a beautiful community that thrives on unity and celebrates unity,” Bryan said. At right are Carlton Tidwell, president of the Rotary Club (left), Archer (center), and Joe Hood, president of the local Lions Club. The clubs all use the clubhouse as their meeting place.
