Hungry for some pancakes? The Kiwanis Club of Terrell is hosting its annual Pancake Day 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 at Rockwall and Brin Church of Christ, 407 N. On a chilly afternoon in mid-April, dozens of youngsters gathered outside of Furlough Middle School. There were young kids barely three feet tall, lanky teenagers and kids of all sizes in between.

Live competitions, packed auditoriums, holiday concerts, and more all felt the burden of COVID-19 this year, but that did not stop the students and directors of the Terrell ISD Fine Arts department from rising to the challenge and pressing on with excellent showmanship.
