On November 2, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas, Shirley Bruner was honored with the Suzanne McDaniel Award at the Texas District and County Attorneys Association (TDCAA) Key Personnel-Victim Assistance Coordinator Annual Conference. This annual event attracts over 300 Texas prosecutor-office personnel for a week of training and recognizing the people who daily make a difference in our counties.

For over 50 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has organized and hosted National Small Business Week (NSBW) during the first week of May. NSBW recognizes and emphasizes the importance of small businesses in the United States and their contributions to its economic well-being. This year, NSBW will be recognized from Apr. 30 – May 6.
